In the early years, thru A2 agent and promoter, 'Jeep' Holland, Sammy Gold, w/ the band 'Caste', played the Michigan concert circuit and outstanding venues like Detroit's famous Grande' Ballroom, opening for Jeff Beck (Rod Stewart), Procol Harum, Canned Heat, Muddy Waters, Bob Seger, Joe Walsh (James Gang), Iggy and the Stooges, Alice Cooper, Johnny Winter and many others. After a short hiatus, Sammy again found his way back to music, playing with Easy Livin' Band. Then he joined local legend, Danny Hernandez and finally formed the Sammy Gold Band. The Sammy Gold Band played all the major clubs in Michigan until the beginning of 1986.
In July of 2010, Sammy made the decision to re-launch his professional music career. His first performance was September, 27, 2010 and since then hasn't looked back. Sammy is currently writing and recording originals and performing in mid-Michigan and South-West Florida.
